tiny pieces (for anna)
The sordid details unravel
like a trashy discount bin novel
the drugs and over-medication
the affairs with the rich and
downtrodden
how she could barely string
one sentence together
without rolling her weary eyes
into the back of their sockets
with loss permeating every facet
of her life
in such a short period of time
she let everyone use tiny of pieces of her
all in the name of acceptance and love
in a twisted, glitz driven world
her legacy, never realized
her name, living in infamy
and ridicule
